This is a fascinating vintage Navajo turquoise and coral silver squash blossom necklace. This remarkable piece contains a beautiful hand carved silver pendant. The pendant consists of a large Royston turquoise stone with an accenting chunky coral stone and superior accenting silver works. The accenting silver works consist of hand carved leaves, shells, flowers, ropes and swirling stems. The pendant measures around 2-1/2″ X 1-5/8″ including the bail. Resting throughout the necklace are 16 beautiful silver squashes. Situated throughout the majority of the necklace are wonderful round silver beads with very long end fluted silver cones and a traditional silver clasp. Sterling silver. Cir. Mid century .
