Black and white photograph of the old W. B. Davis Hosiery Mill in Ft. Payne, Alabama. The mill was built in 1884 to make hardware and tools, but closed after their supply of iron ore and minerals fell short. It was reopened in 1909 as a hosiery mill making socks.
