This KBr (Potassium Bromide) 25x4mm cell window for FT-IR spectrometers is soluble in water and alcohol, and slightly soluble in ether.

KBr (Potassium Bromide) has fairly good resistance to thermal & mechanical shock and is hygroscopic.

The working wavelength range for Potassium Bromide is 48,800 – 388 cm-1.
