Region: Central Anatolia, Nigde (Maden) Region, Turkey. This rug is called ‘İgneli Maden’, translating to something similar to ’embroidered’. The older examples of this rug is named this way. Close to 100 years old this dowry piece is a perfect specimen of the highest quality rugs of the region.
