NEW NORDIC BLUE BERRY STRONG INNOVATION

New Nordic Blue Berry contains a spectrum of intense colored pigments in the form of flavonoids (yellow), anthocyanins (dark purple) and carotenoids (orange) including lutein, which provide complementary support for the eye. These pigments are not only needed to help absorb light for vision but also to protect the light sensing cells in the retina from UV and free radical damage. It helps maintain a healthy macula of the eye in conditions such as cataracts and AMD. 

PROPERTIES OF THE NEW NORDIC BLUEBERRY INGREDIENTS

Bilberry: This special blueberry species contains high levels of anthocyanins, or the deep purple pigment, which has excellent antioxidant properties and helps to protect the eyes and maintain eye health.

Lutein: Lutein is a pigment that is naturally found in dark green leafy vegetables. Light sensing cells in the eye require this pigment to absorb light and to protect from damaging free radicals.
