Calathea Lancifolia (Goeppertia insignis), or Rattlesnake Plant, a flowering plant species of the Marantaceae family, is a unique “gift plant” with its long, thin leaves, ruffled edges, and purplish-red eye-catching color on the undersides.

This is an evergreen perennial with air-purifying and toxin-removing effects. Calathea Lancifolia has a medium growth rate and can reach approximately 30” tall.

Its yellow flowers usually bloom in the late spring.
