Promised Land Water Lilies

This enchanting location is in a state park in Pennsylvania named Promised Land. I have often explored this lake and its many inlets in my canoe. I love to glide the canoe over the lily pads and hear the soft swishing sound they make on the hull as I glide over them. As I painted this scenery, I was transported back to the place in my mind in my efforts to convey the serenity of the setting.
