Piilu Clematis is a compact reblooming deciduous perennial vine that can be used for climbing or a groundcover with bright green point foliage. Abundant ruffled light pink with deeper pink center striped flowers coat the plant from late spring into fall. The form of the flowers differ between flushes- the first flush on old wood in late spring is a double form, while the second flush on the new wood in late summer is single. Grows best with partial sun on the roots and full sun on the vines, moist well-drained soils. Needs support to climb.
