Our Diamond Coated Point Burs, often called ‘Rats Tails’, will produce fine line engravings on hard materials like glass, stone, ceramic, shell, bone, and hardwoods. A fantastic tool for diamond point engraving fine lines, such as hair and fur. These are also the perfect bead reamer to enlarge holes in beads and pearls.

Mounted on a 2.35mm (3/32″) shaft, these are compatible with various tools. Whether using a pin vice, a rotary tool like a Dremel, a Micromotor, a pendant motor, or a flexible shaft, these diamond points will deliver exceptional results. Wear safety eyewear and a face mask. Avoid exceeding a drill speed of 12,000 rpm and use very little pressure.
