ARTISAN STORY

Famiglia! The Ribigini family has been producing majolica for many generations. Gerardo owns the workshop. His Father organized a group of artists after the ware and built a factory for 200 workers. When Gerardo was 15 his apprenticeship and started the business at the age of 20. Gerardo began as an apprentice at 15 years old. Now Gerardo, and his daughter, Claudia, hand-craft one of the most popular designs sold at Biordi, the peacock feather ceramic design. These patterns are special order. Allow 3 to 6 months to complete your special orders as each piece is made for you, and can also be personalized with your name and/or the occasion.
