Premium Glass Balustrade with Handrail System
This product is part of our Premium Glass Balustrade with Handrail System, designed to meet the highest safety and quality standards.
Our glass balustrade with handrail system complies with BS 6180 ‘Barriers in and about buildings,’ and has been load tested to 0.74 kN/m. Load testing is an important building regulation and safety requirement to consider when choosing a glass balustrade, particularly when the system is there to protect from a fall of over 600mm. You can download the test data and certification here.
The Balustrade Posts, Handrail and Components use 316 Grade stainless steel as standard. We use 316 Grade stainless steel as it has a higher content of chromium and nickel, which makes it more resistant to rust and corrosion. Our 316 Grade stainless steel components are made to survive the elements, suitable for both indoor and outside applications.
The 316 Grade Stainless Steel handrail uses Fast Fit, a cutting-edge system developed to make installation easier and more secure. The Fast-Fit rubber sleeve slides into the tube, aligning and securing the fitting until the glue cures. This ensures that the fitting remains firmly in place, without vibrating loose or misaligning.
To complete the system, our glass infill panels panels are designed with 10mm toughened clear glass with dubbed corners and polished edges as standard.
